Can you believe we are
right in the middle of the festive season again? We’ve celebrated Halloween, Guy Fawkes night and Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa and the New Year are coming up!
While Brighde and Seb from the World Vegan Travel team usually don’t exchange gifts at Christmas, we know that a lot of people do like to. And so we’ve come up with some gift ideas that we think will meet the following criteria:
This is the ultimate cutlery wrap that you need for travel. You can buy it with or without all the utensils you need and it includes a built-in wet bag to put any dirty items in perfect for after that picnic. You can even customize the flannelette prints!
These cloths are really handy to have. Instead of tissues or paper towels, use these! Wipe your hands on these after you’ve washed your hands, refuse napkins at the sandwich shop, wipe your brow on a hot summer’s day.
These flannelette bags are great to wrap up sandwiches, salads, produce at the grocery stores and they fold flat at take up very little space in your luggage.
Does a friend or family member have a love affair with a particular city? Get the skyline put on to a ring for them to wear! Pretty cool huh?
This handbag is perfect for the evening, carrying all your bits and bobs with straps long enough to put across your body and take away temptation from pickpockets and bag snatchers.
This traveler’s notebook has plenty of space to stick mementos of your trip as well as serve as your daily journal.
This shampoo won’t be confiscated at security. This solid shampoo bar with a metal case will last for months and contains no plastic either!
Made out of ‘leather paper’, you can keep your passports, itinerary and credit cards safe in this handy pouch.
Brighde’s new wallet! Also made from ‘leather paper’, the only plastic part is the coin section zip.
This bag is a backpack and a shoulder bag. Fully adjustable and a little dressier than most travel bags.
Cork is an incredible biodegradable material and is the finish on this toiletry bag. This does contain nylon so it’s not completely biodegradable.
Available in 3 sizes, these bags stylishly keep your dirty clothes separate from your clean ones!
Hands up who remembers handkerchiefs? Instead of a plastic bag of Kleenex, carry these hankies made from up-cycled cotton.
This toothpaste looks strange, but surely the lack of plastic and natural ingredients make it worth giving it at least a try.
Keep your bamboo straws and your straw cleaner (made from coconut fibres) neat and tidy in its own bamboo case!
If you are packing lunches, or on a self-catering holiday with plenty of picnic lunches, then these pouches will come in handy.
DEET is effective at repelling mosquitos, but it is also has a lot of chemicals and usually comes in an aerosol. This balm made out of natural ingredients can be used to treat mosquito bites as well.
Of course, the absolute best gift you could ever give to a vegan in your life would be an unforgettable vacation! We just happen to have a few on offer for you.
And a lot more in the pipeline. Make sure you are on our mailing list to be first to know!
